On Monday, March 23, Rules Committee Ranking Member Jim McGovern (D-MA) will mark the seventh stop of his statewide End Hunger Now Tour with a visit to the Hosmer Elementary School in Watertown alongside Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA). The Members will meet with the school’s teachers and administrators about hunger and nutrition assistance in the school district, discuss how cuts to federal nutrition assistance and rising food costs are impacting Massachusetts families, and participate in a conversation with 1st graders about the positive impact of Hosmer Elementary School nutrition programs. The visit will conclude with a press conference.
