On Thursday, February 19, Rules Committee Ranking Member Jim McGovern (D-MA) will continue his statewide End Hunger Now Tour with a visit to Greater Lynn Senior Services alongside Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA). The visit will begin with a tour of the Phoenix Food Hub at Greater Lynn Senior Services led by CEO Kathy Burns. McGovern and Moulton will then participate in a cooking class with clients as they learn to prepare nutritious meals. The visit will conclude with a roundtable of staff and clients to talk directly about how cuts to federal nutrition programs and high food costs impact access to nutritious food.
