Rep. McGovern continues his End Hunger Now Tour in MA-03, with a visit to Growing Places Regional Food Center alongside Congresswoman Lori Trahan (D-MA). The visit will begin with a tour of Growing Places Regional Food Center led by Ayn Yeagle, Executive Director of Growing Places, to see the newly opened facility that is helping to improve access to nutritious, local produce in North Central Massachusetts. McGovern and Trahan will then meet with staff, farmers and clients to talk directly about how cuts to federal nutrition programs and high food costs impact access to nutritious food.
