Secretary of State Antony J. Blinke, "Over the past four years, I've traveled over a million miles and visited 86 countries. As my time as Secretary of State comes to an end, I've been reflecting on the incredible people I've met along the way. Their courage, support for democracy, dedication to their communities, and commitment to making the world better have inspired me. I decided to call up some of these amazing individuals to catch up. We talked about when we met and the important work they continue to do. These conversations reminded me of why their stories matter and why their stories need to be heard. Over the next few days, I will introduce you to some of the people I have met along the way in my four memorable years at the Department of State."
