Today, the Oversight Committee will hear from family members of Renee Good and others who will testify about how ICE and DHS have impacted them and their communities in unimaginable ways. Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Ranking Member of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, hold a bicameral public forum to receive testimony on the violent tactics and disproportionate use of force by agents of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
