Video Description

Opening ceremony of the Holodomor exhibit was presented at the Trinity church in Melrose. It discusses the genocidal famine that took the lives of 7-10 million Ukrainians in 1932-1933. Understanding the Holodomor is vital to preventing future genocides and crimes against humanity. This exhibit was a cooperative effort between the following: The event was initiated by and coordinated by the Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England. The venue and community relations were provided by the Trinity Church in Melrose, Massachusetts. Exhibit Materials primarily provided by the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America - Boston Branch in conjunction with the Ukrainian American Educational Center of Boston.   The original program is being aired on MMTV3 (Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM) through the Comcast and Verizon networks.
