On the Senate floor, U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) urges his colleagues to support an effort by U.S. Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Rand Paul (R-KY) to end President Trump's unilaterally imposed tariffs on Canada. Earlier this week, Reed also helped pass a similar Kaine-Paul effort that would put an end to Trump's tariffs on Brazil and reasserts Congress' constitutional authority. This speech was delivered on October 29, 2025.
