U.S. Senators Jack Reed (D-RI), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), and Katie Britt (R-AL) hold a moment of silence and deliver brief remarks on the Senate floor in memory of the two Brown University students who were killed in a deadly shooting on the university’s campus over the weekend. Nine others were wounded in the mass shooting. This moment of silence was held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at approximately 5:00 p.m. EST.
