The U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) holds a full committee hearing to consider the nominations of David A. Wright to be a member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Usha-Maria Turner to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency for the Office of International and Tribal Affairs. One is a qualified nominee to lead the NRC at a critical moment for clean, safe nuclear energy. The other is yet another friend of the fossil fuel industry.
