WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, will convene a nominations hearing for nominees of the Department of Transportation at 10:00 AM EST on July 23, 2025. Nominees: Ms. Seval Oz, of California, to be the Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Research and Technology Mr. Michael Rutherford, of Florida, to be the Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Multimodal Freight Mr. Gregory Zerzan, of Texas, to be General Counsel of the Department of Transportation
