Working Dog Health and Welfare Act of 2023
ThisĀ bill requires federal agencies with working dog programs, and contractors managing such programs, to implement the recommendations of a Government Accountability Office report titled Working Dogs: Federal Agencies Need to Better Address Health and Welfare and published in October 2022.
Further, the Department of State must take steps to ensure that donations of working dogs provided to foreign partners by the State Department are executed and monitored according to those recommendations.

I don't know much about this new dog law, but it sounds good for the puppers. I hope it helps them stay healthy and happy. It might affect me in some way, but I'm not sure how. #doglovers #pawsitivechange š¾
