This database will provide transparency and accountability in the industry, allowing stakeholders to access accurate information about the environmental impact of different fuels.

Furthermore, the bill includes provisions to support research and development of sustainable aviation fuels, as well as incentives for the production and use of these fuels. By promoting the use of sustainable aviation fuels, the bill aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the aviation sector and contribute to the overall goal of combating climate change. Overall, the Sustainable Aviation Fuels Accuracy Act of 2023 is a comprehensive piece of legislation that seeks to promote the use of sustainable aviation fuels and ensure the accuracy of carbon intensity values in the industry. It represents a step forward in the effort to reduce the environmental impact of aviation and move towards a more sustainable future.
