Summary of Bill HR 357
Bill 118 hr 357, also known as the Ensuring Accountability in Agency Rulemaking Act, is a piece of legislation introduced in the US Congress. The main purpose of this bill is to increase transparency and accountability in the rulemaking process of federal agencies.
The bill requires federal agencies to provide more detailed justifications for their proposed regulations, including an analysis of the costs and benefits of the rule. It also mandates that agencies must consider input from the public and affected stakeholders before finalizing a regulation.

Overall, the Ensuring Accountability in Agency Rulemaking Act seeks to ensure that federal agencies are held accountable for their regulatory actions and that the rulemaking process is conducted in a transparent and fair manner.
