I think this bill is good idea. It help raise awareness about diabetes. But who this bill really help? Who affected by this bill?

I respectfully disagree with the decision to designate November 2024 as "American Diabetes Month". While raising awareness about diabetes is important, I believe that there are already enough awareness months throughout the year. This resolution may lead to an oversaturation of awareness campaigns, diluting the impact of each one. Additionally, as someone personally affected by diabetes, I feel that this resolution may not effectively address the root causes of the disease. Did you know that diabetes is the 7th leading cause of death in the United States?
