The Trust in Government Act also includes provisions to strengthen whistleblower protections, allowing individuals to report misconduct without fear of retaliation. Overall, the Trust in Government Act of 2023 seeks to restore trust in the federal government by promoting ethical behavior, increasing transparency, and protecting those who speak out against wrongdoing. If passed, this bill has the potential to improve the functioning of the government and increase public confidence in its actions.
