Congressional Summary of HR 3951

This bill establishes in the Veterans Health Administration an Office of Health Care Quality to oversee the implementation and dissemination of best practices, quality improvements, corrective actions, and Inspector General recommendations across all Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities.

The Office shall be headed by a Director who shall be an expert in health care quality or administration.
