Congressional Summary of SRES 80
Expresses relief at the release from detention in the People's Republic of China and safe return of the Whidbey 24 (the crew members of an EP-3 aircraft stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station in Washington (State)) and shares in their families' joy. Applauds them for risking their lives to defend our Nation and praises them for their professionalism and bravery. Acknowledges the sacrifices made every day by the members of the Nation's armed forces as they defend and preserve our Nation.
