Begg, Acting Inspector General, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ___________________________________ The hearing will examine the persistent waste, fraud, and mismanagement within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This hearing will underscore the critical need for congressional oversight and review by the Department of Government Oversight and Efficiency (DOGE) to ensure transparency, accountability, and operational effectiveness within the agency. The Committee will hear the testimony of the Acting Inspector General at HUD to better understand the depths of waste, fraud, and mismanagement at the agency, while also hearing potential corrective measures. Attached Legislation 1.
