At St. Patrick's Cathedral, Metropolitan Antony of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A. and Bishop Paul Chomnycky, OSBM, of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Stamford led a requiem service, or panakhyda, alongside Archbishop Daniel Zelinsky of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A., Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia and Bishop Emeritus Basil Losten from the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Stamford. The Ukrainian Chorus "Dumka" of New York sang the the requiem responses at the national Commemoration of the Holodomor Genocide on November 18, 2017
