Remarks by UCCA Vice President Michael Sawkiw at University of New Haven’s second annual concert commemorating two of the most transformative events in Ukraine’s history -- Holodomor (1932-33) and the Revolution of Dignity (2013-14). The program featured leading scholars and musicians from University of New Haven, Quinnipiac University, and Yale University in a creative collaboration of original works by local composers inspired by the tragedy of the Holodomor and the heroism and sacrifices of Ukrainian freedom fighters.
