Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee Ranking Member Linda T. Sánchez (D-Calif.) will host a press conference to introduce the Trade Adjustment Assistance Modernization Act on Wednesday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Capitol. Ranking Member Sánchez will be joined by congressional and labor leaders committed to reauthorizing the Trade Adjustment Assistance program, along with individuals whose livelihoods have been impacted by trade. The TAA program, which expired in 2022, offers a range of services to support American workers displaced by trade, including skills training, job search and relocation assistance, and extended income support.
