Video Description
ICE denied us entry to areas where they hold detainees in the San Diego federal building. We’ve heard extremely concerning reports that the number of ICE detainees in the basement of the federal building is rising, families are having trouble getting in touch with their loved ones, and people are being held for days in spaces without real beds or showers. If nothing’s wrong, then why is ICE trying to stop us from doing our job of Congressional oversight? What are they trying to hide? This is not over. We won’t stop showing up, demanding answers, and working to protect our communities.

As members of Congress, we were denied access to the Department of Education. This is unacceptable.
