On Monday, June 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence will convene a virtual open hearing on the impact of COVID-19 in Sub-Saharan Africa. Witnesses: Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Senior Vice President at the Albright Stonebridge Group and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Ambassador Michelle Gavin, Senior Fellow at Council on Foreign Relations and former U.S. Ambassador to Botswana J. Stephen Morrison, Senior Vice President and Director, Global Health Policy Center at Center for Strategic and International Studies Judd Devermont, Director of the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and former national intelligence officer for Africa
