The House Judiciary Committee will markup H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act and H.R 1112, the Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2019. H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019, requires background checks on all firearm sales. H.R 1112, the Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2019, would strengthen the background check procedures federal firearms licensees or dealers follow before selling or transferring a firearm.
