Bishop Bemoans Democrat Hypocrisy Stalling National Park Backlog Solution

Today, Ranking Republican Rob Bishop (R-Utah) reproached democrats on their blatant hypocrisy at the Subcommittee on Water Oceans and Wildlife legislative hearing. Since meeting democrat requirements for a floor vote, leadership in the House Committee on Natural Resources have neglected to advance the overwhelmingly bipartisan maintenance backlog legislation. Democrats have now pivoted, standing behind a belief that the solution to repair our National Parks needs a pay-for before it can be considered on the House floor. The park backlog is supported by a bipartisan coalition of 318 members of Congress.
