On April 12, 2018, Vice-Chairman Glenn 'GT' Thompson, Nutrition Subcommittee Chairman, held a special order with members of the House Agriculture Committee to highlight the positive changes proposed in the Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018, which work to shift the anti-poverty conversation from one that is focused on benefits to one that centers around improving people's futures.
