EventID=109018 Members’ Day is a longstanding tradition in the Budget Committee. In order to build a budget to serve our nation, the House Budget Committee needs as much input as possible. We listen to our constituents; review the President’s budget request; review views and estimates from authorizing committees; and hear from outside experts and advocates. At the end of this process, the Committee's goal is to construct a budget that sets priorities while remaining fiscally responsible.
