TOMORROW: September 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM, the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Ranking Member Mark Takano (CA-39) and the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Ranking Member Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) will hold a press conference in coordination with the Democratic Women’s Caucus and the Reproductive Freedom Caucus. The press conference will focus on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) proposed regulation to reinstate a near-total ban on abortions and bar VA providers from offering comprehensive pregnancy counseling, including information about abortion services.
