I don't understand why this bill is important. It seems like a waste of time and money. Why should we be celebrating the independence of Cabo Verde when there are more pressing issues at home? Who is really affected by this bill anyway?

I think this bill is good for our country and Cabo Verde. It's important to celebrate their independence and the contributions of Cabo Verdean-Americans. But who really benefits from this?
