I don't get why this bill is needed. It's just giving more money to states that already have laws in place to protect sexual assault survivors. Why not focus on preventing sexual assault in the first place? How will this really help survivors in the long run? #confused

I think this bill is a good idea, but I'm not sure how it will work in practice. It's important to support sexual assault survivors, but will this bill really make a difference in the long run? How will it affect us in the future?
