Summary of Bill S 1110
Bill 119 s 1110, also known as the "Artificial Intelligence Regulatory Review Act," is a proposed piece of legislation that aims to mandate the use of artificial intelligence technology to review and analyze agency regulations. The bill seeks to streamline the regulatory process by utilizing AI to identify outdated, redundant, or ineffective regulations that may be hindering economic growth or efficiency.
If passed, this bill would require federal agencies to implement AI systems to conduct regular reviews of their regulations and identify areas for improvement or elimination. The use of AI is intended to increase the speed and accuracy of regulatory reviews, as well as reduce the burden on agency staff.
In addition to requiring the use of AI for regulatory review, the bill also includes provisions for training agency personnel on how to effectively utilize AI technology and ensure compliance with the new requirements. The bill aims to promote transparency and efficiency in the regulatory process, ultimately benefiting both businesses and consumers. Overall, Bill 119 s 1110 represents a bipartisan effort to modernize the regulatory process and harness the power of artificial intelligence to improve government efficiency. If enacted, this legislation has the potential to significantly impact how regulations are reviewed and implemented in the United States.
