In addition to the requirement for consent, the bill also addresses other purposes related to nuclear waste management. While the specifics of these purposes are not outlined in the summary, it can be inferred that the bill aims to improve the overall process of siting and managing nuclear waste repositories in a more collaborative and inclusive manner.
