I don't understand why this bill is necessary. Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. was a prominent figure in American history, but why do we need to spend time and resources honoring him with a bill? Wouldn't it be more productive to focus on passing legislation that directly impacts the lives of Americans today? Can someone explain to me why this bill is important?
