Passenger Rail Crew Protection Act

The bill titled "To prosecute, as a Federal crime, the assault or intimidation of a passenger train crew member in a manner consistent with the prosecution of assault or intimidation of an aircraft crew member" was introduced in the 119th Congress on May 19, 2026 (H.R. 8894). It aims to establish Federal prosecution for assault or intimidation of passenger train crew members in a manner similar to the prosecution for similar actions against aircraft crew members.
