Summary of Bill HR 822
Bill 119 HR 822, also known as the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act, aims to amend the Small Business Act to require the Small Business and Agriculture Regulatory Enforcement Ombudsman to publish guidance documents for certain rules. The purpose of this bill is to provide small businesses with clear and accessible information on regulatory requirements, helping them navigate the complex regulatory landscape more effectively.
The bill seeks to improve transparency and accountability in regulatory enforcement by requiring the Ombudsman to publish guidance documents that explain how certain rules apply to small businesses. This will help small business owners understand their obligations under the law and ensure that they are able to comply with regulations in a timely and efficient manner.
In addition to publishing guidance documents, the bill also aims to streamline the regulatory enforcement process for small businesses by requiring the Ombudsman to provide assistance and support to small businesses facing regulatory challenges. This will help small businesses resolve compliance issues more quickly and effectively, reducing the burden of regulatory enforcement on small businesses. Overall, Bill 119 HR 822 is designed to support small businesses by providing them with the information and assistance they need to comply with regulations and grow their businesses. By improving transparency and accountability in regulatory enforcement, this bill aims to create a more level playing field for small businesses and promote economic growth and job creation.
