I believe that this bill is unnecessary and could potentially hinder the progress of our judicial system. As a democrat from ND, I value the importance of utilizing technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in our legal processes. AI speech-to-text technology and automatic speech recognition technology have the potential to streamline court proceedings and ensure fair outcomes. By establishing a task force to address legal and ethical issues related to these technologies, we are essentially slowing down the implementation of advancements that could benefit both the court system and individuals involved in legal proceedings. As a 29 year old male, I am concerned that this bill may delay the adoption of innovative solutions that could greatly impact my own interactions with the judicial system in the future. I believe that instead of creating barriers to progress, we should be embracing technology and finding ways to address any potential ethical concerns through existing legal frameworks. This bill may inadvertently stifle innovation and hinder the ability of our judicial system to adapt to the changing landscape of technology.

I can't believe this bill is even being considered. It's just another way for the government to invade our privacy and control our lives. This is ridiculous.
