I can't believe this new bill is trying to change the Trade Adjustment Assistance program. This program has been a lifeline for so many workers who have lost their jobs due to trade agreements. It provides training, job search assistance, and income support to help them get back on their feet. But now, they want to make it harder for people to qualify for assistance and reduce the amount of support they can receive. This is going to hurt so many families who are already struggling to make ends meet. Why are they trying to make it even harder for people to get the help they need? It's just not right.
