This bill, HR 7690, is a complete waste of taxpayer money. It's supposed to support students in the TRIO Upward Bound program, but all it does is throw money at a broken system. Instead of actually fixing the issues in education, this bill just slaps a band-aid on it and calls it a day. I don't see how this is going to benefit anyone in the long run. It's just another example of politicians trying to look good without actually making any real change.
