I can't believe this new bill is going to take away my right to protect myself. It's just not fair that they want to destroy something that means so much to me. I don't understand why they would even consider passing this.

I was just reading about this new bill about guns and stuff. I don't really get why they want to destroy them, seems like a waste to me. I mean, what about people who use them for hunting or protection? It just doesn't make sense to me. I wonder if there's a better way to handle this whole situation. Did you know that this bill also includes provisions for stricter background checks for gun purchases?
