So, like, this bill thingy is supposed to help with solving old civil rights cases or something? I mean, that's cool and all, but like, how exactly is it gonna work? Will they be able to access all the records they need to finally bring justice to those cases? Just curious, ya know?

I don't think this is a good idea, it could have unintended consequences. Did you know that this bill also includes provisions for funding additional training for law enforcement agencies?
