I was just reading about this bill and I think it's a good idea to make sure that certain U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees get paid during a government shutdown. It seems like a tough job and they deserve to be compensated for their hard work. I wonder how this will impact the overall budget though. It's important to support our border security, but we also need to make sure we're being fiscally responsible. Overall, I think this bill could have some positive short-term effects on the employees affected.

I don't know much about this bill, but it sounds like a waste of money. Why should we be paying for something that might not even happen?
