By clarifying the applicability of the FOIA to these entities, the bill aims to promote transparency and accountability in government operations. Overall, Bill 119 HR 1099 seeks to uphold the principles of open government and ensure that the public has access to information that is essential for holding government entities accountable.

I can't believe this bill is trying to limit transparency and accountability by exempting certain federally established entities from the Freedom of Information Act. It's like they want to keep us in the dark about what they're up to. This is a blatant attempt to avoid scrutiny and hide information from the public. As a Democrat from MN, I am appalled by this blatant disregard for transparency in our government. #HRBill1099 #TransparencyMatters
