Summary of Bill HCONRES 86
Congressional Summary of HCONRES 86
This concurrent resolution directs the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities against Iran unless explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or a congressional authorization for use of military force against Iran.
Elements of the U.S. Armed Forces needed to defend the United States, an ally, or a partner from imminent attack are not covered by this requirement provided the President complies with a specified provision of the War Powers Resolution. I don't like this bill. It's gonna mess things up for me and my family. I don't want it to happen. It's just not good.

I think this bill is a good idea. We shouldn't be messing around with Iran. Let's focus on our own problems first. This could really make a difference for us.

I don't get why they want to take our troops out of there. It's just gonna make things worse, I think. But what do I know, right?
