Public Health Service Commissioned Corps Operations and Readiness Act or the PHS COR Act
This bill requires various activities to support the operations of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Required activities include (1) recruiting and retaining professionals suited to work in underserved and vulnerable communities, (2) improving processes for deploying mission teams to routine and emergent public health events, and (3) establishing an office to carry out legislative affairs functions.
