I don't get why they're doing this whole "Gold Star Families Remembrance Week" thing. It's like, why do we need a whole week for that? Seems unnecessary. And who even came up with this idea anyway? It just doesn't make sense to me. Did you know that the United States HRES Bill 1447 also includes provisions for educational programs to raise awareness about the sacrifices made by Gold Star Families?
