Summary of Bill HR 9743
The DEPLOY Tax Relief Act, also known as Bill 118 hr 9743, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The main purpose of this bill is to provide tax relief to individuals and businesses who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the key provisions of the DEPLOY Tax Relief Act is the creation of a tax credit for businesses that have been forced to shut down or reduce operations due to government mandates related to the pandemic. This tax credit would help these businesses recoup some of the financial losses they have incurred as a result of the pandemic.
Additionally, the bill includes provisions to provide tax relief to individuals who have lost their jobs or experienced a reduction in income due to the pandemic. This could include things like expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit or providing additional tax deductions for expenses related to remote work. Overall, the DEPLOY Tax Relief Act aims to provide much-needed financial assistance to individuals and businesses who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is currently being debated in Congress, and its ultimate fate will depend on the outcome of these discussions.
