Summary of Bill HR 4360
The ACCESS Rural America Act, also known as Bill 118 hr 4360, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The main goal of this bill is to improve access to healthcare services in rural areas of the United States.
One of the key provisions of the bill is the establishment of a grant program that would provide funding to rural healthcare providers to help them expand their services and improve their facilities. This would help ensure that individuals living in rural areas have access to the same quality of healthcare as those in more urban areas.
Additionally, the bill aims to increase the use of telehealth services in rural communities. Telehealth allows patients to consult with healthcare providers remotely, which can be especially beneficial for individuals who live far away from healthcare facilities. The bill would provide funding to help rural healthcare providers implement telehealth services and improve access to care for rural residents. Overall, the ACCESS Rural America Act seeks to address the healthcare disparities that exist between rural and urban areas in the United States. By providing funding for rural healthcare providers and promoting the use of telehealth services, the bill aims to improve access to quality healthcare for individuals living in rural communities.
