Northeast Fisheries Heritage Protection Act
This bill bans the development of commercial offshore wind energy in Lobster Management Area One in the Gulf of Maine. The bill also directs the Government Accountability Office to assess the sufficiency of the environmental review processes of the National Marine Fisheries Service, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, and other relevant federal agencies for existing offshore wind projects in the Gulf of Maine.
