Summary of Bill HR 2391
Bill 118 hr 2391, also known as the No Crime Left Behind Act, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The main goal of this bill is to address the issue of unsolved crimes in the United States by providing additional resources and support to law enforcement agencies.
One of the key provisions of the No Crime Left Behind Act is the establishment of a national database of unsolved crimes. This database would be accessible to all law enforcement agencies across the country, allowing them to share information and collaborate on solving cold cases. Additionally, the bill allocates funding for the training of specialized cold case units within police departments, as well as grants for the use of advanced forensic technology.
Another important aspect of the bill is the creation of a task force dedicated to investigating cases of missing and exploited children. This task force would work closely with local law enforcement agencies to track down missing children and bring perpetrators to justice. Overall, the No Crime Left Behind Act aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of law enforcement in solving cold cases and bringing closure to victims and their families. By providing additional resources and support, this bill seeks to ensure that no crime is left unsolved in the United States.
