This funding would be used to expand access to mental health care, improve the quality of services, and reduce barriers to treatment for individuals in need. Furthermore, the HELLPP Act includes provisions to improve mental health education and awareness, particularly in schools and communities. By increasing understanding and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues, the bill aims to promote early intervention and prevention of mental health crises. Overall, the HELLPP Act is a comprehensive piece of legislation that seeks to address the growing need for mental health support in the United States. If passed, this bill has the potential to improve access to care, reduce stigma, and ultimately save lives.
